Reframing Family is a photographic exhibit presented by the First Unitarian Society of Denver and photographed by Paul Sorensen. It consists of family portraits of folks from many walks of life and cultural backgrounds. All of the subjects have one thing in common: Family. The goal of Reframing Family is to show the diversity of families, some are traditional, some are families that would have been legally blocked from marriage in the past, and some that are blocked from marriage now.
The First Unitarian Society of Denver created this exhibit to promote marriage equality and the inherent worth and dignity of all human beings. If you are moved by this exhibit and wish to become involved, you can visit our links page for organizations that support marriage equality and human rights. If you would like to host the exhibit at your location, see our about page for details. We thank you for your visit.
